    Position Title: Deputy Country Manager

    Job Description: The Deputy Country Manager at BYD France is a pivotal role responsible for collaborating closely with the Country Manager to oversee and manage various aspects of the company's operations within the designated country. This position requires a strategic and dynamic individual who can drive sales growth, enhance brand visibility, and ensure effective management of various departments to achieve overall business objectives, particularly focusing on pushing car sales of BYD.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of professionals across different departments including sales, aftersales, product, and marketing.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation, productivity, and excellence.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Work closely with the Country Manager to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aimed at increasing market share and achieving sales targets.Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Dealership Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing dealership partners and explore opportunities to expand the dealership network.Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential dealership partners and negotiate favorable agreements to ensure optimal market coverage.
  • Brand Building: Develop and execute brand-building initiatives to enhance the visibility and reputation of BYD in the local market.Coordinate marketing campaigns, promotional events, and PR activities to increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
  • Business Management: Oversee the overall business operations of various departments including sales, aftersales, product, and marketing.Monitor departmental performance, analyze key metrics, and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments such as finance, operations, and HR to ensure alignment and synergy across different functions.Act as a liaison between the country office and the global headquarters to facilitate communication and implementation of corporate initiatives.
  • 7. Other tasks assigned by Managing Director or Country Manager

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within the automotive industry, with a focus on sales and marketing.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
  • Excellent French and English skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of the automotive market, including trends, consumer preferences, and competitor analysis.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on results and continuous improvement.
  • The Deputy Country Manager plays a crucial role in driving the success of BYD in the designated country by leading cross-functional teams, developing strategic initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence across various departments.
