Your mission:

As Mission Manager, you will hold a crucial role in communicating with our clients on both technical and programmatic side to ensure the proper execution of our launch services contracts.

You will be the focal point for our customers, with the goal to guarantee that the interface requirements between the payloads and our vehicle are properly defined, and to ensure that the payloads are meeting these requirements and are properly qualified for launch.

You will handle and manage the mission preparation schedule as well as the associated contract deliverables, making sure that the activities are aligned with the project goals.

You will be in direct interface with our private and public customers to build the mission with them, co-write the interface control documents and build the test and qualification approach towards flight worthiness approval.

Each customer mission will be a dedicated project of which you will be the project leader.

You will report to the Vehicle Design and Product Strategy Lead and will be able to rely on the technical skills from her team.

Education & past experience:

• Masters degree in aerospace
• 5 to 10 years in space industry
• Previous experience in mission management is a plus

Language:

• Fluent English
• German and/or French is a plus

The Exploration Company develops, produces and operates Nyx, a modular and reusable orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit, and which carries cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.
