You will be joining Worldline, a company in full transition to a new era of payments, covering hardware, software and services as tooling for merchants to grow their business.

    As a Site Reliability Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our services are designed, deployed, and operated at scale, with high availability and performance in mind. You'll work closely with our development teams to build and maintain the necessary infrastructure and tooling that underpins our platform's reliability. Your expertise will help drive innovation and operational excellence throughout our software development lifecycle.

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities ​

  • Develop new shared services to improve Worldline's velocity and innovation
  • Integrate community products in our ecosystem
  • Develop your own tooling, with either simple scripting or advanced programming language
  • Collaborate and share with the team
  • Support business lines to migrate their current solution in our brand new Infra with code, automation and CICD
  • Manage, innovate, and create Shared services and tooling that continuously improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Worldline
  • Work cross-functionally to build fast, reliable, and resilient production systems
  • Develop, configure and enhance our automation stack and our CI/CD pipelines.
  • Create Documentation that every collaborator can use, improve and share. Technical documentation and user documentation.
  • Daily operational tasks (change management, application monitoring, application deployment, ...)
  • Secure our services, obviously in the payment industry security is must and should be taken into account from the very beginning
  • What We Are Looking For

  • Academic or Bachelor level of education or equivalent by experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Linux experience in a HA environment
  • Self-starter, autonomous
  • Comfortable in development/programming skills
  • Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical staff at all levels in the organization

  • Ability to make your way through a complex automation stack autonomously

  • Must have: Excellent knowledge of products from major storage vendors (HPE, HDS, NetApp, PureStorage, etc.) Technical knowledge of block and file storage systems and SAN/FC and SAN/IP systems is essential Used to work with source version control like Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, GIT flows and CICD Used to work with Puppet and Terraform Comfortable with Scripting (bash / python / ruby / puppet / CICD) Understanding of network protocol (IP, DHCP, DNS, BGP, Load balancing,...) Experienced/Proficient in at least one programming language (Java / GoLang / Perl, etc.) Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, PagerDuty, New Relic,). Experience with multi DC setup (in different countries) Experience with hybrid infra (On prem + cloud) Experience with security standards (PCI-DSS,...) Excellent communication skills in English Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Nice to have: Familiar with service discovery in a micro-frontend architecture Prior experience as an SRE or in a similar operational role. Certifications in cloud provider technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure). Understanding of compliance and security best practices in a cloud environment.
