Job Description:


In your role as the
Product Engineer, you own the plant products staring from the earlier phases of identifying the product specs, and vehicle content moving to managing the process of releasing the parts technical requirement in the engineering cross functionally, being the plant focal point with the vehicle designer home room & handling all the parts changes locally and globally.


Other responsibilities include:


  • Consulting with supervisor and other product engineers as required.
  • Responsible for providing test direction and resolving technical issues on a variety creative project where initiative is needed.
  • Change Management Process Owner for The Engineering Changes on Vehicles Parts across the organization.
  • Planning, Managing and Monitoring the CKD programs timing related to engineering activities, plant readiness, localization, pilot, and production build schedules for all assigned programs as per the GVDP.
  • Leading the Engineering Product Development Team Deliverables in the PQRR Meetings "Program Quality Readiness Review Meetings".
  • Engineering Focal point for communication with homerooms (ISUZU, GMK & SGMW).
  • Providing Product Technical content from standard and options list for SUP and CKD vehicles.
  • MPL "Master Parts lists" Transformation into EPL "Engineering parts lists", KDPL "Knock down parts lists" and SPL "Supply Parts lists" for CKD vehicles. Technical support to the Engineering Product Development Team "Vehicle Engineering", Global Purchasing & Supply Chain Teams, Manufacturing, Program management, Finance, and Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing "VSSM" Teams.

Education/Experience:


  • B.Sc. in Engineering, preferably in Production, Automotive, Industrial or Mechanical, Electrical Engineering.
  • Min 3 Years of experience in Product Care/Development, Automotive industry is preferable.

Skills/Job Requirements:


  • Manufacturing, Design & Quality System Background (Or Any).
  • Strong analytical and creative problemsolving skills, with proven experience in quantitative and data analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal, Presentation and Communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English both Spoken and Written.
  • Demonstrating PC proficiency is required (MS office: Excel, Power point, MS project. etc.)
  • Strong Project Management skills.
  • Working effectively under pressure dealing with ambiguity. Basic Data analysis experience (Python programming & Power BI Experience) is preferable/Plus.
