Your mission:

The position is part of the Group Purchasing Team that is currently under transformation. The scope is global with local hat for the head office projects.
This position will support in category strategy development, program implementation, project management, spend analytics to identify new opportunities.

He/she reports to the Global Purchasing Director.

This position is directly responsible for the Indirects Categories (mainly Travel, Facility Management & Professional Services) with execution and implementation.


Your Responsabilities

  • Develop and implement indirect category strategy for assigned spend
  • Manage strategic sourcing initiatives, following a 7step sourcing methodology. Prepare and execute bid packages utilizing RFIs, RFPs, set appropriate sourcing actions etc.
  • Find alternate and innovative ideas to provide business solutions, challenge requirements and specifications to create a competitive advantage
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and find appropriate channel.
  • Collaborate with regional sourcing leads to understanding regional business needs, market insights, risks and opportunities and federate the local team
  • Work with headquarter stakeholders to improve purchasing adoption
  • Support savings tracking processes, measure contract compliance, and other key metrics to ensure targets are being met and value is being delivered to the business
  • Manage supplier relationships, tracking supplier performance, and communicating performance feedback to suppliers through appropriate scorecard
  • Perform Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) reviews with key strategic suppliers
  • Provide support to the Global Purchasing Director

You must have
-
3-7 years of professional experience in Sourcing and Procurement with an understanding of best practices and world-class processes:

  • At least 3 years' experience in Travel Services procurement, knowledgeable in multi Travel categories (including travel agency management, short term car rental, lodge card, hotel directory, air flight)
  • At least 3 years' experience in complex & decentralized matrix organizations
  • Subject matter expertise in various indirect categories including professional services
  • Strong understanding of financial measurement; ability to identify and quantify legitimate areas of business benefit (cost savings, avoidance, client satisfaction, quality improvement, etc.)
  • Previous global experience working within a multinational, multicultural environment
