About the Role:


We're hiring a Sales Engineer to partner closely with our Sales team and support our customers in their experimentation journey.

This is a technical role where you will shape how dozens of Eppo customers think about experimentation and help them get started with our platform and achieve long-term technical success.

Individuals who excel at this job have the ability to think strategically and invest time in developing re-usable artifacts and best practices which are made available across all customers.


What you'll do as a Sales Engineer:

  • Serve as the key technical contact with our customers and partners as they integrate with Eppo's SDKs
  • Couple technical knowledge with a consultative mindset to understand customer needs, gather requirements, and influence decisions
  • Be the first point of contact for high priority customers issues or questions related to Eppo's technical architecture and usage
  • Provide customers with best practices for integrations, develop playbooks for use cases and identify key onboarding & adoption patterns to speed time to value
  • Advocate for customers internally by frequently providing customer feedback to the product team
  • Create a foundation for a strong technical partnership between Eppo and customers and solve technical hurdles that are impeding value realization

Skills:


What you'll bring to the team:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Partner Engineering, Technical Account Management, Solutions Architecture, or any other customer facing engineering role
  • You are familiar with the software development lifecycle, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery
  • You are familiar with modern cloud data warehouse providers as well as product analytics and ETL tools
  • You are comfortable with at least one of the following languages: Java, Go, JS, Python, PHP, NodeJS, Ruby,.NET, iOS, or Android
  • You have worked with APIs and one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience managing relationships with technical stakeholders
  • Nice to have: Proficient at SQL
