What you do
Based on Capital Market insight and ALM requirements, develop investment strategy including Alternative Assets and ESG, Liquidty and FX risks.
You will implement changes driven by new requirements or regulation (IFRS9, Sustainable finance implementation,).
Management response to market changes:
traditional asset classes less attractive, new / illiquid asset classes to be adopted and customized to AZP needs, increased gap to general know-how of top management, increased communication and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the investment strategy of the subgroup group and give back ownership to different legal entities through Fico process
- Customize Allianz strategies to Allianz Partners and develop proprietory solutions if no Allianz solution is readily available
- Translate ALM analysis into SAA considering riks, liquidity and other constraints
- Integrate investment controlling and risk kpi's into appropriate dynamic asset allocation responses
- Support Investment operations and goverance, incl. PD prepartion, controlling, Fico prepartion, asset manager management
What you bring
- Deep knowledge of capital marktes and asset classes, insurance business model and IFRS accounting, investment risks and capital (MVBS, Solvency II)
- Fluency in using IDS data and producing reports and analysis, financial and capital market models (valuation, arbitrage free pricing)
- 7+ year experience in Investments Implementation and minimum one other role close to investments (Treasury, Investment Analytics / Market Research, Banking,...)
- Deep understanding of risk (VaR for investments, RBC/Solvency II), insurance investment assets value chain, regulatory constraints, of alternative assets, their characteristics and market particularities
- Allianz proprietary tools and processes is a big plus (finacial frame, ESG, planning tools e.g. ATIP)
- Affinity for working with large data and on complex issues with conflicting targets, MS Office, Financial Data (internal IDS, external Reuters, Bloomberg), Accounting / SAP, Good English and one other language
- University master 2 or equivalent in Finance or Applied economics.
