About the job:
Within Central Engineering department, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer, expert in mass management and balancing, to reinforce the expertise of our train design teams located around the world.
- define weight management and balancing methodologies and tools.
- improve and structure the weight knowledges. The use of statistical methods will be necessary.
- create a library of mass data and provide analysis and prediction tools.
- provide expertise on projects under development (on site projects or as an expert)
- develop innovative solutions to reduce the mass of our products.
As part of the Weight core team, you will participate in:
- weight management training design and implementation
- experts network
Your various missions will lead you to work with multicultural and multidisciplinary teams. Travel (a few days per month) may also be required.
About you:
- You have about 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in mass management on industrial projects.
- Data science and statistical skills are also appreciated.
- Pragmatic and structured, you are at ease in everchanging environment.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written, in English (French will be also estimated)
