Description

As a Procurement Specialist you will structure and/or administer contractual documents that establish business relationships with sales and suppliers for purchasing goods, equipment, services, systems, software or technical equipment, covering the EMEA region.

You will also negotiate with sales and suppliers favorable terms that comply with company policies and procedures, legal requirements and/or other specifications.

What you will be doing:

Purchasing responsibility for a specific supplier /portfolio.
Profile inventory taking into consideration the company strategy and suppliers' inputs.
Support new business opportunities through reserving forecast / buffer approval.
Gain full understanding of purchasing requirements to achieve internal department's desired outcomes for service and cost.
Manage inventory levels to meet the company quarterly targets.
Assess risk when placing high value Pos, to minimize company's financial exposure.
Coordinate with a variety of department representatives as required during all stages to resolve problems and issues.
Negotiate with sales & suppliers specific T&Cs (delivery, quantity, schedules, change orders, etc.) when needed.
Review and approve requisitions (up to assigned authorized amount) to validate documentation complies with internal audit requirements and defined policies and procedures.

What we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
Fluent in English and French.
Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Team player, adaptive, and good business acumen.
Good knowledge of Excel.
