As our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you're a tech-savvy superstar with a passion for safeguarding sensitive data and keeping our digital assets secure.

You will be the guardian of our digital fortress, protecting our company and clients from cyber threats while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You are a critical thinker and have excellent communications skills:
this will make you a trusted advisor to our external clients and the guru of IT management team.


What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy to protect our digital infrastructure, systems, and data assets and identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for our IT operations, including infrastructure management, system administration, and SaaS implementation and management.
  • Provide guidance to internal teams and external clients on data protection measures during the preparation of RFIs (Requests for Information) and RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and address our client's security concerns on data protection practices.
  • Oversee the security of external vendors and partners, ensuring they meet our security standards and contractual obligations.
  • Create and enforce information security policies and procedures, making sure to be uptodate with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Implement security monitoring systems and processes to detect and respond to security incidents in realtime.
  • Maintain open and clear communication channels within the company, ensuring that security initiatives and risks are effectively communicated to stakeholders.

Must haves

  • 7+ years of experience in information security management, with a strong background in IT management and/or Saas implementation
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and French
  • Deep understanding of industry best practices, frameworks (such as ISO 27001 and NIST), and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Experience leading and motivating crossfunctional teams, managing security projects, and driving IT initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, executives, legal counsel, and external partners.
  • Eligibility to work in the country where the job is posted

  • Experience in the event industry, its peculiar processes and business models
  • A forwardthinking and innovative approach to security, staying abreast of emerging technologies and trends.
  • Fluency in any other foreign language
