Position Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge in Materials Management & Purchasing with basic understanding of SAP Ariba, Production Planning, Plant Maintenance, Sales & Distribution, WM/EWM and Transportation Management.
- Must have design and configuration experience in: MM Master Data, Business Partner, Sourcing, Procurement, Pricing, Inventory management, Physical inventory, Release Management, Version Management, Valuation and account assignment, Invoice verification, MM Fiori apps
- Must have Integration experience SAP with nonSAP external systems (Supplier collaboration, Invoicing, etc.)/internal Legacy systems
- Translating Functional Specifications into Application design documents, coordination with ABAP team, testing of new functionality or Enhancements, Prepare Test plans and Test scripts, Perform Unit tests and integration tests
- Detailed knowledge of Supply Chain business models, SAP Procure to Pay and working on Fiori UI
- Sound knowledge of purchasing integration with other modules of SAP
- Independently take up and participate in Requirement gathering, Document preparation, EndtoEnd Solution design, Functional Spec preparation, Realization and Deployment
- Collaborate with cross functional teams comprising of business SMEs, Architects, Developers and SIs (vendor consultants) on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current systems
- Identify, recommend and implement complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentation
- Participate in the project delivery during testing cycles and lead the root cause analysis and correction of issues
- Exposure to usage of SAP Solution Manager
- Certifications in either SAP MM or S/4 HANA will be an added advantage
- Knowledge and Experience of SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development methods
- Strong understanding and experience of SAP testing tools and other SAP line of business products
- Understanding of business functionalities in Aerospace and Defense industry
- In depth knowledge of SAP MM user exits, batch jobs, SAP standard reports
- Ability of handle and lead the development of WRICEF objects independently in collaboration with ABAP
- Contribute for overall project management plan using SAP Activate methodology
- Experience with SAP S/4 Hana and FIORI
- Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal skills
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
years of overall SAP experience in asset intensive and manufacturing environments in which 8+ years of experience in SAP MM/Procurement
- Must have good knowledge of Indirect & Direct Procurement, Intercompany purchase, Stock transfer orders and Invoicing
