You'll be reporting to Thibault, our eCommerce Director. The role can be based in Paris or remote.


HERE ARE SOME OF THE EXCITING THINGS YOU WILL GET TO DO:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive merchandising and trading strategy focused on maximizing gross margin and forecast attainment across all product categories, considering market dynamics, customer value perception, and competitor pricing
  • Analyze market trends, pricing data, sales performance, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Reporting on sales performance, gross margin and forecast attainment in key product categories, analysing & presenting data and insights to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the marketing, product, sales, and commercial teams to align strategies and ensure consistency in brand positioning.
  • Work closely with the product team to ensure a strong product assortment that meets customer demands and aligns with market trends.
  • Managing forecast accuracy and inventory levels to ensure product availability through D2C sites
  • Maintain a promotional calendar combining pricing details (website discounts, additional influencers discounts, etc.)
  • Implement strategies to improve product visibility, placement, and crossselling opportunities across the ecommerce platform and marketplaces.
  • Collaborate with the commercial finance team to evaluate pricing scenarios and their impact on overall profitability.
  • Plan and execute offers and discounts to drive sales and optimize gross margin.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of promotional campaigns, making datadriven adjustments to maximize ROI, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing best practices or future campaigns.
  • Manage and support members of the Merchandising team, setting expectations and establishing best practices and process improvements as appropriate

HERE ARE THE THINGS YOU WILL BRING:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in a merchandising or sales role in the ecommerce industry
  • Indepth knowledge of ecommerce sales strategies and a track record of driving profitability.
  • Strong analytical skills & ability to interpret complex data to make informed business decisions
  • Familiarity with pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and product placement optimization.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and platforms, such as Excel and Google Analytics.
