Role Purpose:


As a member of Sibelco Green Solutions France, the jobholder will lead SGS logistics, SGS logistics being a legal entity on its own.


As such, the jobholder is responsible of the financial viability of SGS logistics, he/she has to oversee the operations, leading a team of two logistic fleet managers and around 30 truck drivers all around France.

As the leader of SGS logistics, it is expected that the jobholder delivers the best performance in terms of quality and timing of glass pick up on the supplier's sites, that means lead time, responsiveness, cleanliness after pick up, safety, etc.

Last but not least, the supply chain manager is responsible to keep the material up to date, keep up with maintenance as well as look for new ways to collect glass more efficiently.


In order to do so, it is expected that the Supply Chain Manager works closely with the Sourcing manager in order to collect and deliver glass to all 9 treatment sites located in France.


A few numbers:
2 logístical sites (North and South)

~5M€ revenue (internal transport + external)

Around 30 truck drivers and 2 logistics fleet managers

Provides raw materials for 9 glass recycling sites in France, working closely with the Sourcing manager and customer service team


Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure the financial viability of SGS logistics
  • Develop and maintain the responsiveness and efficiency of SGS logistics
  • Develop and manage the tools and the employees of SGS logistics (Capex, skills development, safety,etc)
  • Interfaces closely within Operations, Sales, Supply Chain and the Top Management

About you:
With a university degree, you have relevant experience in transportation, logistics and managing finance (ideally a P&L).

A good knowledge or experience of glass recycling would be a strong plus.

You must speak French absolutely fluently. Non fluent French speakers will not be considered for this role.
