Context of the role:
Prologis Europe Energy business offerings are currently in a scale up phase.

We are developing new businesses and offers for our several main product lines:

Grid Scale Storage, Back of the Meter Solar & Storage, Meter Management, Energy Supply offerings and also integrate these offerings with Electric Vehicles Charging and Sustainability solutions.

Globally, we are currently growing our generation and storage capacity to 1GW by 2025 and we will reach net zero by 2040.

In Europe we plan to invest up to 2.5 billion Euros in Grid Scale storage assets by 2030.


Scope of the role:

• The role will report to directly to SVP, Global Head of Energy utilities, and Storage and will be responsible for all core elements of 'value delivery' components of Energy business including project execution i.e. construction and commissioning, managing the operating portfolio performance, asset management, customer billing, financial planning and analysis and investment services, and will work closely with VP of Energy for Europe who will lead 'value creation' components including project development, sales, contracts with customers and utilities, investment committee memo approvals, etc.
• This role will provide direct on ground management and oversight of daytoday functions and will manage a matrix organization of several key functions with global matrixed reporting. E.g., construction and commissioning will have dotted line to Global Head of Execution, Asset Management, billing, and operating portfolio performance will be matrixed to Global Head of Asset Management, and Financial Planning and Analysis, Investment Services, and M&A for will be matrixed to SVP, Global Head of Finance for Energy, Mobility, and Sustainability.
• The role covers Energy business operations and management activities for across all 12 countries in Europe.
• Accountability includes managing scope, schedule, and budget for an large portfolio of energy projects during construction and commissioning and overall revenue accountability for EU operating portfolio including cash generation, delivering expected profitability, asset performance, OEM warranties, customer billing, track grants/subsidies.
• Core contributor to the definition and execution of Energy & Sustainability business strategy in Europe and member of EMS Europe management team, together with VP Energy Europe, VP Mobility Europe and VP HR EMS Europe.
• Direct management of at least two directors and a team of 1015 employees (construction project managers, asset manager, finance director). Team to be built using approved headcounts for 202
