At the heart of the long term discover strategy, co-lead the workload of carbohydrate metabolism directly in line with business needs in the context of sugar reduction challenge, which includes:

the understanding of the science related to the effect of ingredients on postprandial response,

- the understanding of business challenges / consumer interest of this program
- the launch of human studies with all the administrative parts mandatory to respect Good Clinical Practices

How you will contribute
In line with business interest, lead the scientific program on interest of proteins on health, which includes:

Build / manage the database coordination of protein data on ingredients of interest
Part of the internal community on protein business interest
Direct contact with external academic expert to manage the experimental phase of the program

What you will bring
Minimum Bachelor's degree with concentration in: Chemistry, Food Science, Food/Chemical Engineering, or science-related field. Master's degree preferred.

PhD in Nutrition science or food science with some experience in applied nutrition

or Master Degree in Applied Nutrition or food science and minimum 3 years in R&D, in a Nutrition research department

Expertise in Applied Nutrition, and more precisely in postprandial metabolism and health.

Experience in clinical studies methodologies
- in transversal leadership, ie be able to influence in meetings internally
- in scientific synthesis / analysis of scientific data / understand statistic analysis
- to be able to clearly present and explain the results to different audiences (from academic experts to marketing people)

Working as part of the Nutrition Research team, you are recognized internally as a technical expert.

You will contribute in projects related to applied nutrition. At the heart of a growing business, the nutrition research team has new challenges to meet. Then, you will participate to Global Nutrition Strategy.

Carrying out projects relating to postprandial metabolism are at the heart of a growing business. In this context, the nutrition research team has new challenges to meet.

Your role will be to support the conduct of studies related to the glycemic response in the context of sugar reduction program.

You will coordinate a database on protein digestibility at cross section of business needs and research. You will be the privileged contact with an external laboratory for protein research program.

In addition, you will be in close contact with the Ingredients and Processes research team as well as the Nutrition Communication team within Mondelez.

Finally, you will bring your knowledge on cross-cutting nutrition topics that will feed into projects directly linked to Mondelez's business.

La réalisation de projets liés au métabolisme post-prandial est au cœur d'une activité en pleine croissance. Dans ce contexte, l'équipe de recherche en nutrition a de nouveaux défis à relever.

Votre rôle sera de soutenir la conduite d'études liées à la réponse glycémique dans le cadre du programme de réduction des sucres.

Vous coordonnerez une base de données sur la digestibilité des protéines au carrefour des besoins de l'entreprise et de la recherche.

Vous serez le contact privilégié avec un laboratoire externe pour le programme de recherche clinique sur les protéines dans le respect des bonnes pratiques.

Ce que vous allez apporter:

Minimum un MSc avec une spécialisation en (Bio)-Chimie ou dans l'agro-alimentaire ou dans tous les domaines équivalents complété par un doctorat en sciences de la nutrition ou en sciences de l'alimentation avec une expérience prouvée en nutrition appliquée.

Maîtrise en nutrition appliquée ou en sciences alimentaires avec au moins 3 ans en recherche et développement, dans un service de recherche en nutrition.

Expertise en nutrition appliquée et plus précisément une expertise sur le métabolisme postprandial et la santé.
Une expérience prouvée dans la Science des Aliments, la Nutrition et la Santé
Expérience des méthodologies d'études cliniques
Dans le leadership transversal, c'estàdire être capable d'animer des réunions en interne et fédérer
Dans la synthèse scientifique / l'analyse de données scientifiques / comprendre l'analyse statistique
Etre capable de présenter et d'expliquer clairement les résultats à différents publics (des experts universitaires aux spécialistes du marketing).
Fluidité en Français et en Anglais
