Role overview
Be responsible for effective territory management, within a defined area. Experience in the delivery of both medical and scientific information to Health Care Professionals within Rare Disease.

Ensure the promotion of products used by Recordati Rare Diseases are in compliance with regulations, in particular the requirements linked to the Charte de l'information médicale and the collection and recording of information related to pharmacovigilance


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development of Recordati Rare Diseases products within defined territory
  • Present Health Care Professionals (HCP) about Recordati Rare Diseases and their products
  • Responsible for territory action plan and strategy which encompass all aspects of the local health economy in line with Franchise Head's business strategy
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders (Medical Affairs/Marketing etc.) to agree on key account plan objectives/responsibilities
  • Responsible for building relationships and prioritising new business opportunities and prospects
  • Responsible for the organisation / attendance of scientific group meetings, symposia, congress with opinion leaders or health care associations, conferences & webinars for HCP using peer to peer influence to educate a wider audience
  • Implementing milestones and deadlines; monitoring progress and taking action to address delays/shortfalls
  • Followup of observational studies implemented by Recordati Rare Diseases with HCPs following their effective recruitment for various studies
  • Responsible for local and regional budgeting, in addition to analysing and following up activities for the region

EXPERIENCE

  • 5 to 10 years mandatory experience gained within the French pharmaceutical industry, including 3 years in commercial functions
  • Rare Disease/niche/speciality product experience
  • Experience in endocrinology would be advantageous
  • Scientific knowledge and the ability to understand scientific publications
  • Knowledge of local hospital network, market access/payor experience for rare diseases products
  • Strong interpersonal and client skills and ability to handle diverse tasks.

SKILLS

  • Excellent business and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in English in the context of international training and congresses
  • Must have excellent written and spoken English/French and able to evidence strong communication through written, oral and presentation skills
  • Computer literate in Microsoft programmes including Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and continuously developing and improving product knowledge, communication and selling skills through selflearning and training
  • Selfmotivated, entrepreneurial and forwardthinking outlook, with desire to expand skill set and overcome challenges
  • Demonstrable project management experience would be advantageous
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team, manage time and meet deadlines
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude contributing to a sharing team spirit
  • Cross functional working within a collaborative, team driven and high performing approach
  • Willingness to travel this is a fieldbased role
