In the Compensation Specialist role, you will report directly to the VP of Total Rewards (based in France) and will be a key contributor to the Total Rewards Team (Team of 4 = you, 1 comp analyst, 1 benefits analyst, and VP of TR).


The Compensation Specialist will support day to day activities and also quarterly and annual Compensations processes independently or in collaboration with Compensation Manager.


What you'll do

Business As Usual:

  • Develop benchmarking analysis, compiling market analyses.
  • Provide advice and recommendations to Managers, People Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition.
  • Partner with People Operations, Payroll and Finance to ensure smooth roll out of compensation programs.

Quarterly:

  • Provide input relating to compensation workstream in TR projects (compensation training, communication on Total Rewards related matters.
  • Own the quarterly bonus payout process under the supervision of a senior Total Rewards.
  • Create and maintain process documentation.

Annual:

  • Manage compensation surveys. Compiles and submits data.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations supporting the review / creations of compensation ranges across multiple geo.
  • Assist the Total Rewards Team in the annual compensation review cycle (from design, training to implementation in payroll).

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years' experience in Compensation.
  • Proficiency with Google suite tools and Microsoft Excel (In Excel / Google Sheet we trust ).
  • Analytical skills, capacity to drive recommendations.
  • Be a selfstarter with the ability to work within ambiguity and able to execute according to project plans with a high level of attention to detail
  • Challenge the status quo
  • Location: Can be based in either the United States (EST or CST time zones only), United Kingdom, or France.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with/exposure to Workday.
  • Experience working in a Startup/Scaleup environment.
