    Job Description


    We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer to join our organization. This role will involve designing, implementing and maintaining data platforms using open-source ETL/ELT technologies such as Apache Airflow, dbt and VTL.


    Key Responsibilities



    • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python, R or Stata programming languages.

    • Configure and manage development environments using IDEs like VSCode, RStudio, Cursor and Jupyter.

    • Implement best practices for collaborative coding in languages such as Python, R and Stata.

    • Ensure integration between IDEs, data platforms and source control tools for streamlined workflows.

    Required Skills & Qualifications



      litemaster's degree in Data Engineering or related field.
      The ideal candidate should have experience with Git-based version control systems (GitHub,GitLab) including branching strategies access control repository management scripting expertise Bash python YAML configuration automation job orchestration.
      have knowledge of containerization Docker task execution environments Kubernetes Gitlab runners script operation software engineering best practice modular design unit testing reproducibility preferred qualification bachelors master degree statistics computer science related area collaborate research analytics team reproducible coding standard knowledge validate framework Great Expectations metadata metadata layer lineage tracking cloud-native infrastructure deployment AWS GCP Azure contribute work Open-source tooling
