As part of the project to create a site in Candé (49), Manitou is launching the recruitment of the project team and is looking for a Buyer M/F on a fixed-term contract (18 months).

Within the framework of the strategy and objectives of the Products division, you will manage the purchasing families and/or projects for which you are responsible.


Your main missions are:

  • You lead the relationship with suppliers and internal teams
  • You are familiar with the supplier markets and carry out a technology watch
  • You develop and deploy:
  • The strategies in consultation with the prescribers, with the aim of improving the overall performance (cost, quality, lead time, service)
  • The risk desensitization plan
  • You define, negotiate and follow up the various purchasing contracts
  • You select suppliers for new needs in line with the defined strategies
  • You monitor the performance level of suppliers and lead the associated action plans
  • You participate in the construction of the budget and in the implementation of the monthly monitoring of its KPI
  • You define and pilot the action plan of the managed projects


You have the authority to intervene appropriately, if you are confronted with a situation that you know is potentially dangerous (depending on your knowledge, training or clearance).


Profile:


With a minimum of Bachelor Degree (ideally engineering school plus a master's degree in purchasing), you have successful experience in technical and industrial purchasing on an international level (ideally in construction, industry and agriculture).

You are also known for your good interpersonal skills, versatility and adaptability, combined with a strong sense of negotiation. You are ambitious, proactive and autonomous.

Your rigor and your spirit of synthesis as well as your dynamism and your liking for teamwork are your main assets to succeed in this position.

Finally, you must have a good command of English and French and computer tools (EXCEL, Google suite, etc.).
