Microbs is on the lookout for an exceptional individual to drive our commercial strategy, expand our client base, and cultivate sales channels globally, with an initial emphasis on the pharmaceutical sector in Europe.
This role presents a thrilling opportunity to be at the forefront of a burgeoning brand and join a rapidly expanding startup as one of its first 10 employees.
Position Title:

Reporting to:
- **Microbs CEO
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute robust sales strategies.
- Cultivate and manage direct customer base with a focus on pharmaceutical (process water).
- Develop and oversee our network of distributors and strategic partners.
- The role requires significant business travel.
Education & Experience
- MSc/PhD in a life science discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience in a similar environment.
- At least 10 years of experience in the rapid microbiology industry.
Required Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
- Demonstrated salesmanship, with strong interpersonal and relationshipbuilding abilities.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, selfdriven, and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
Preferred
- Proficiency in another European language, particularly German, would be a plus.
Job Location:
Ideally based in our Rennes offices, although remote work from a well-connected central European location will also be considered.
Salary:
Competitive package based on experience
