- Make sure the engineers in the team have everything they need to provide their best work, to deliver the best roadmap
- Work with the Product team to adjust expectations, clarify technical challenges, write clear functional specifications
- Contribute to hiring the best engineers for the team
- Contribute to our infrastructure, tools and processes as a DevOps engineer
- Build a scalable, secure, highly available infrastructure on AWS using Terraform - Optimise the costs of running our platform
- Help the Tech team on monitoring, observability, resiliency of the platform
- Help the Tech team on using continuous integration and deployment, feature flags, blue-green deployment
- Disaster recovery planning and operation
- Lead initiatives around security: pentest, bug bounty program, dependencies updates
- You have at least 2 years of experience as a DevOps or SRE
- You master AWS or any other cloud provider.
- You have worked with a backend programming language and an Infrastructure as Code framework e.g. Terraform
- You have an experience with a DBMS (SQL or NoSQL)
- You have a good knowledge of code quality best practices (tests, CI/CD, ...)
- You're passionate about security
- You're curious and eager to extend your technical skills
- You can speak and work in English

Description du poste
We think reinventing financing is a massive tech challenge, that's why we built October as a tech and data-driven startup. Today, 18 developers are working on building the best financing experience ever made, very closely to the Product team.
We believe in ownership and mentoring at SBS Digital Lending. By following good code practices and through code review, we make sure to deliver quality code and allow developers to grow their skills.
We follow the Scrum methodology: the Tech and Product teams are split in 3 squads, along with a DevOps platform team.
We currently have 3 people working on the infrastructure & data platform, and 15 developers eager to learn the DevOps best practices.
The security is a topic split across squads that everybody is responsible for.
