Position Summary:


Position Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Global HR Director in determining and delivering on HR's strategic priorities.
  • Lead the work required to set up and implement a workforce planning process which enables the organisation to assess future needs.
  • Provide expert employment law organisational design advice and guidance to managers by maintaining uptodate knowledge of relevant legislation and custom and practices.
  • Take responsibility for supporting line managers with casework issues of employees. This includes formal and informal disciplinary and grievance cases, absence management and any welfare concerns.
  • Provide an efficient, serviceoriented recruitment function for all posts, providing support to line managers from role design through to selection, offer and onboarding stages.
  • Ensure AAF P&I has an effective performance appraisal system that creates an environment in which people feel supported, valued and accountable.
  • Lead on job evaluation so that all AAF P&I jobs are evaluated, and rigour is maintained in salary setting in relation to job evaluation results.
  • Maintain (and develop where necessary) a comprehensive range of people policies that make AAF P&I a desirable place to work, are aligned with our strategic priorities and principles, and are kept up to date in line with current legal guidance and best practice.
  • Support the Global HR Director in achieving high levels of worker engagement by taking on workstreams as requested.
  • Support AAF P&Is work on equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • Carry out administration duties where required to fulfil functional responsibilities.
  • Ensure robust management of all personal data handled by HR, adhering to AAF P&Is data protection policies and more broadly to the EU GDPR.

Person Specification:


Education_, Qualifications and Affiliations_**Essential

  • Achieved or studying towards a recognised HR qualification.
Completed qualifications from an accredited institution may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.


_ Experience_
Essential

  • Demonstratable experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Experience of delivering functional HR expertise across the full generalist remit including recruitment, reward, organizational development, change management, employee engagement, employee relations and L&D.
  • Comfortable working on a number of projects simultaneously.
  • Awareness of the concepts of business strategy and methodology.
  • Computer literate and able to use a wide range of software packages.
Desirable

  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing/engineering company.
  • Practiced in dealing with trade unions and associated collective agreements.
  • Experience of working internationally.

_Licenses or Certifications_:

Essential

  • Eligible to work in France.
  • Valid passport.

  • Full driving license.
