About the Team


The People Partner team at Uber provides a seamless people experience to all employees (especially in moments that matter), which enables them to positively impact the business.

This team leads scaled, human resource (HR) support to Uber's leaders, managers and employees, driving overall engagement and a phenomenal employee experience.

The team also drives strategic projects and programs globally as well as regionally to improve overall HR delivery efficiency that supports and drives Uber's growth and scale.


About the Role


We're looking for a People Partner to provide support to our employee population in EMEA, with primary focus in France.

As a People Partner, you operate as a trusted advisor and consultant to management and employees on a multitude of people matters.

You will consult on topics such as talent management, performance management, team engagement, and other people initiatives.

In addition, your role is instrumental in leading and supporting the execution of our regional and global People priorities and projects.

Most importantly, you are a steward of our cultural values and are well connected to our people, providing a pulse on the overall health of the organization.


What You'll Do

  • Provide support to employees and leaders in the business: coaching on performance management, accommodations, business conduct, policies, and other HRrelated topics
  • Analyze data from various daily activities and projects to identify patterns and trends that can help create, improve processes, or identify areas of concern
  • Partner with your crossfunctional teams on larger projects and organizational changes
  • Identify and execute on continuous improvement of HR programs and processes to enhance the overall employee and manager experience
  • Provide support to the various functions areas during the performance review lifecycle by contributing to the talent reviews, talent assessment, and followups
  • Own and strengthen key partnerships on behalf of the team (with other People COEs: Benefits, ER, People Operations, People Systems, Analytics, HRBPs)
  • Facilitate the adoption and continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, and processes to improve the enablement and experience of employees and managers
  • Complete processes and project work to maintain compliance in your region or function

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of professional, related experience as a generalist, advisor, business partner or project/program manager in the human resources discipline
  • Solid knowledge of French employment practices and employment law
  • Experience with coaching line managers & peers on HR processes and supporting them in strengthening their leadership skills
  • Proven capability of providing employee and manager HR consultations
  • Experience with driving positive solutions to advanced employee complaints and discrimination charges
  • Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify and resolve sophisticated and sensitive HR issues/problems
  • Effective partner management and collaboration with other teams to deliver a consistent employee experience
  • Exposure to employee relations and understanding of the investigation process
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and strong project management expertise
  • Workday experience and/or experience using JIRA or ServiceNow is a plus
