    Discover L'Amarre

L'Amarre is a community hub in the center of Toulon, founded in 2021 by two local entrepreneurs, Cédric Davoine (co-founder of Alchimistes Côte d'Azur), Thibaud Spieser (co-founder of Swello), and community hub expert Léa Massaré (founder of the Wide Open Project).

Made possible by the involvement of over 200 citizens, this unique place brings together citizens, associations, businesses, and institutions around a diverse and participative program.

From repair workshops, conferences, exhibitions, community cafe, seed library, tool library, women's circle, language gatherings, free training, thrift store... everything is done to promote the 4 values we have chosen:

    • intergenerational conviviality
    • knowledge sharing
    • preservation of life
    • citizen experimentation

In 2024, L'Amarre has moved to a new location, 7 Place d'Armes in Toulon, opening up new opportunities for activities and events, including outdoor events in Place d'Armes.

Regarding governance, we have chosen sociocracy, a model where power is shared among all members of the association (Board of Directors, volunteers, and employees): reflection, decision-making, and task allocation are done through thematic circles.

    Key Information About the Position

As a coordinator, you will lead and evolve this community hub to make it vibrant, sustainable, and thriving on a territorial scale.
