A Business Manager (W/M)

Your missions


Under the supervision of the CEO, the Business Manager aims to promote the growth of the company's activities and to support clients in the realization of their projects.

Thus she/he is in charge of taking care of business development, via active accounts and new accounts.


This goes through:

  • The identification of targets and their prospecting mainly in France and Europe, as well as by increasing the presence of the company among existing customers
  • Understanding the needs of its interlocutors, to define, with the technical team, the right solution for the customer, develop the right arguments and thus be able to convince them that the company is the right partner
  • Responding to customer requests and negotiating contracts (package, technical assistance, service center): edits customer offers in cooperation with the technical team and under the authority of the CEO who validates them
  • Be the interface between the client and the technical team throughout the project for the followup of the commercial relationship.
  • Animation actions of a network of agents responsible for identifying opportunities in their territories
  • Be an actor in effective internal reporting, in particular via the CRM tool, regular and detailed reports of customer and prospect interactions, or by echoing medium and longterm needs perceived during various customer exchanges.


Beyond interactions with prospects and customers, the business manager will have to represent the company in different clusters / associations (such as Minalogic or Medicalps) or other trade fair and conference, echoing know-how and positioning of society, or she/he will have to promote certain achievements or collaborations via articles or other communications (in the press, social networks, etc.).


Finally, she/he will participate in internal debates relating to the structuring of the communication plan and media, always with the approach of reaching more and more customers.

This position employs listening skills, negotiation skills and experience to best meet client expectations, overcome objections and make their decision.


Profile and experience

  • An engineer who wished to evolve into a predominantly commercial position or Technicalcommercial experience in the semiconductor sector ( > 8 years) which allows her/him to interact in a precise and relevant manner both with customers and with the engineers of the team.
  • Proficiency across the full sales cycle: technical specification, cost estimation, quotation, contract drafting, commercial negotiation, legal negotiation, invoicing, debt collection
  • Excellent communication and writing skills. Taste for challenge and sense of service.
  • Fluent English
  • Available for occasional trips (France, Europe...)
