- To accountably manage a dedicated territorial sales office to foster organic growth and cultivate relationships with existing customers as well as to acquire and grow new customers, prospects and businesses with a focus on the coatings, paints, inks, construction, adhesives, and sealants markets in France.
- To proactively steer and execute all relevant sales activities in the dedicated territory.
- To initiate, facilitate, and materialize technical customer projects as well as new business opportunities.
- To market a well-defined and specialized product portfolio in need of comprehensive technical and application-centric explanation.
- To advise customers on the existing product portfolio and present the latest new product developments.
- To establish, cultivate, and develop relationship management at different hierarchical levels within the business partner organizations.
- To establish and accelerate the company brand perception as a highly customer-centric, technically-driven, and strongly service-oriented business partner in the specialty chemicals business in France.
- To translate sales and product success stories into new business in adjacent applications and markets.
- To participate in industry-specific trade fairs, exhibitions, and conferences.
- To initiate, monitor, and actively follow up on product sampling.
- To compile and report market feedback and share product success stories within the international PICA sales force.
- To plan and forecast annual volumes per product to support inventory management, logistics, and warehousing.
- To negotiate sales pricing and sales contract conditions to develop profitable and sustainable growth.
- To prepare product calculations and apply written product offerings to existing customers and prospects.
- To support and advise the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- To contribute and execute sales, marketing and product strategy.
- Engineering Degree Recommended or Equivalent.
- Sales Professional with Experience.
- 3-5 Years in the field of Paints, Inks, Construction Chemicals and Adhesives (PICA.)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to exceed goals.
- Proficient in Office Software.
- Ability to travel (Internationally and Domestically.)
- Very good knowledge of English and French.
