Job Description:
Photolithography Engineer responsible for sustaining existing GaAs, GaN, InP, and Si processes and developing new processes in Photolithography in the wafer fab
Specific responsibilities include:
sustain the photo area to meet all factory indicators; plans and conducts experiments to fully characterize the process throughout the development cycle; drives improvements on quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity, and safety/ergonomic over variables such as material, method, equipment, environment and operating personnel.
Successful candidate develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.Job Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in Engineering with 10+ years of experience in Photolithography.
Demonstrated knowledge in compound semiconductor processes for high frequency applications.
Hands on working experience with i-line steppers.
Thorough understanding of resist technology.
Able to work with Design/Layout team in mask reviews and ensure all requirements are captured in order to make manufacturable processes.
Specific semiconductor skills include solid understanding of semiconductor device physics and IC processing, data mining and statistics, SPC, DOE, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem solving.
Must have a proven track record of solving technical problems, project ownership and meeting deadlines, and multitasking.Must display strong sense of ownership, drive and dedication to the improvement of the process area.
The ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams to improve processes.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including technical writing for summarizing data and findings, writing process and equipment specifications and work instructions.
