Position Summary


As the Market Access Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure that clinical, economic and societal perspectives are optimally included in market access implementations of AtriCure's therapies.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, external stakeholders, and payers to secure reimbursement, coverage, and market adoption of our therapies.

The position will be accountable for the ability to maximize patient access to treatments for life-threatening diseases

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and implement market access strategies to optimize product reimbursement and coverage in alignment with company objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis, including payer landscape assessment, to identify opportunities and challenges for market access.
  • Generate economic value data based on clinical and health economic evidence and outcomes research
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including payers, government agencies, and reimbursement authorities.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of reimbursement dossiers and value propositions to secure coverage and reimbursement for our products.
  • Provide guidance to internal teams on pricing strategies, health economics, and outcomes research to support market access initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze healthcare policy changes, payer trends, and regulations that may impact market access strategies.
  • Partner with Commercial and Medical functions, specifically with Scientific Affairs and Real-World Evidence, corporate HEO&R Affairs, Global Pricing teams and Regulatory to ensure alignment and execution of market access plans in Europe.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders to communicate valuebased market access strategies and outcomes effectively.
A little about yourself

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in market access, reimbursement, or healthcare policy within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in navigating payer landscapes, securing reimbursement, and executing market access strategies.
  • Strong understanding of health economics, health technology assessment, and healthcare reimbursement processes.
  • Experience in working with Health Economic models (e.g. Markow, QALY).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a crossfunctional team environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and resultsoriented approach.
  • Ability to travel 2030%
