Your responsibilities and tasks:


  • Drives the HR agenda for the country scope and contributes to longterm HR strategy by driving standardization, harmonization, and the continuous improvement agenda on country level
  • Performs general HR management in the country provides expertise in all aspects of the employee lifecycle and leads the team through
  • Acts as trusted HR advisor for the country management team
  • Drives collaboration and change (e.g., changes of organization structure, talent integration related to mergers & acquisitions)
  • Acts as change agent and ambassador for OneHR and actively contributes to a successful collaboration across the HR organization
  • Communicates and drives HR cycle and strategic workforce planning, reviews and develops leadership from a country perspective
  • Adapts global HR standards to business specifics and initiatives, translates HR concepts / tools / tasks to the country
  • Actively develops and implements policies on local level (e.g., car policy)
  • Picks up demands from the country business and brings them to attention of our OneHR organization, contributes to businessdriven concept development
  • Drives staffing for key country positions and partners with talent management and recruiting colleagues on key talent initiatives (e.g., workforce planning, highpotential employee development, succession planning, etc.)
  • Expands knowledge of HR concepts and processes within the area of responsibility
  • Evaluates and develops competences of respective HR BP team in close collaboration with Regional/Divisional Head (long term development and succession planning)
  • Enables the team as strategic business partner(s) in the country and supports them to become high performers
  • Actively manages the cost centre from a financial and capacity perspective

Your profile and qualifications:


  • Master's degree (or equal level of acting) in Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Law, or Human Resources
  • Proves significant further development in leadership, Human Resources and Business acumen
  • At least 5 years' experience in a full spectrum HR role
  • A generalist profile combined with a strong understanding regarding the HR portfolio and excellence of processes
  • Indepth understanding of the strategic role of the HR function
  • Solid experience in driving HR initiatives for business excellence
  • Experience in leading and shaping HR teams, managing restructuring programs, developing HR strategies, and driving complex (HR) optimization projects and change management initiatives
  • Profound knowledge of country specific labor relations and labor law
  • Driving talent management, leadership growth and organizational development, as well as executive compensation and governance
  • Knowledge and experience in coaching and mentoring senior managers and employees
  • International experience
  • Uses trust as the core of collaboration and fundament for achieving results
  • Be a role model for our GEA leaders in HR initiatives, (e.g., perform & grow and strategic staffing)
  • English (proficient), local language (mother tongue)
  • Strong Leadership and change competencies; ability to resiliently lead internationally and/or culturally diverse teams
  • Deep understanding of business on a broad country scale
  • International background and experience in a high diverse HR function
  • High degree of negotiation and networking skills, able to articulate a compelling vision both written and verbal and to gain support for best HR practices
  • Be a Matrix champion and stimulate the collaboration in our business teams and the HR organization
  • Successfully worked in a virtual team setup across different teams and geographies
  • Selfconfidence and assertiveness with strong influencing and communication skills
  • Be comfortable engaging at all levels of the organization from the factories to the management teams
