Our client, is a company specializing in manufacturing and distributing a wide range of innovative products and solutions for the life sciences research and medical diagnostics markets.

We are recruiting the site director for the distribution site in Mitry-Morry of 90 people.

Responsibilities

The Distribution Site Director manages the operational actions of the site, for which he/she assumes responsibility and takes charge of social relationships. He/She will:

• the proper functioning and efficiency of reception, storage and distribution with a constant concern for cost optimization, without affecting the quality of services, ensuring compliance with HSE standards on the site.
• in charge of the main European distribution center including Export (US, Asia, Latin America, etc.) This includes direct domestic distribution (France, Benelux, Spain, Portugal, UK) and the Export activity for the consumable part as well as for certain destinations of the Instruments in addition.
• the After Sales Service team and coordinates all site support activities such as facility Management.
• compliance with product storage standards including compliance with the 24/7 cold chain.
• the lean management culture of the site. (Ex : 5S, Kaizen etc.)
• and ensure site security requirements.
• and implement distribution budgets (operations, investment, etc.)
• in the deployment of the global distribution strategy.
• the health, safety, hygiene, environment and regulatory policy of the site in connection with support functions.
• in the implementation of site optimization and maintenance actions.
• charge of and chair the site's social relations.

Profile

• education in logistics or supply chain (Bac +5 or equivalent)
• least 10 years of experience in logistics, acquired in the distribution of medical equipment and/or the food industry in an international environment with constraints (Ex: cold chain)
• managerial experience and recognized leadership
• management certified (Green belt/Black belt)
• responsive and proactive, methodical thinking
• or native English is mandatory. (C1 level +)
