We are a young company, founded in 2012 by the two friends Franck Vogelin and Gabrielle
Roüault de la Vigne.

The desire to share a common conception of art, heritage and a certain idea of French courtesy came about when the two founders met.

Les Visites Particulières offers a service that is oftentimes hard to come by when traveling abroad:
an introduction to the living culture of a country by those who know it best.

Specializing in top of the line, exclusive and thematic excursions, the company offers to open the doors of art galleries, foundations, museums, artists' workshops and private collections in Paris.

The company also organizes high end private tours through the most touristy regions of France such as Loire Valley, Burgundy, Normandy, Champagne, Bordeaux, Riviera and Provence.

It is currently expanding its activities to England and Spain.

About 200 handpicked multilingual and highly specialized guides are part of the team of Les
Visites Particulières. These "guides particuliers" have been selected according to rigorous standards in terms of knowledge, transmission, originality and sociability. Several languages are available for each excursion.

Our clientele are mostly wealthy Americans (couples or families, 1-6 pax maximum) brought by luxury travel agencies and private concierge services.

• INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION

Under the supervision of the company's two founding partners:

• Catalog writing and layout (iconographic research, descriptive texts, French/English and

English/French translations...)

• Formatting of our guides' biographies
• Harmonization and sorting of our service providers' database
• Creation of a Google form for our guides
• Creation of new rates for our events
• Update a database of venues for our events business

The job is very versatile, and therefore highly formative.

• REQUIRED SKILLS

Curious, Creative, with true interest in literature, history, art de vivre and French culture.
Computer skills (Word, Excel...)
Public Relations, Communication, Business, Education, Tourism.

• LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Native and Literary English - Grammar and spelling must be perfect.

Understanding
C- Has no difficulty in understanding any kind of spoken language.

Writing
C- Can write complex letters and summaries and reviews of professional or literary works.

Speaking
C- Can express self fluently and convey finer shades of meaning precisely.

French

Understanding
B- Can understand extended speech, lectures and contemporary literary prose.

B- Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity, and can explain viewpoint.

• CONDITIONS

We are a young company and we work in total trust with our co-workers. We work in a friendly, productive and supportive atmosphere.

We will always be available to help and support you in your tasks and we will take our time to supervise your work.

Full time job - 7 hours a day, 5 days a week

Work place :
Bordeaux. Possible to work partly from home.

Assumption of duties:
September or October 2023
