As a Project Support, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating closely with our accomplished Project Managers to guarantee the flawless execution of projects within the maritime industry.

Your involvement in the project lifecycle will be multifaceted, encompassing various responsibilities that contribute to the overall success of each endeavour.

The scope of your role is national, and you will operate from Marseille (France).

Responsibilities:


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the acceptance of sales projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant procedures.
  • Supporting the execution of projects according to contractual agreements, within budget, and aligned with business objectives in ethics, quality, health, and safety.
  • Collaborating with the Project Managers to focus on revenue growth, improve business results, and foster a corporate culture of ownership and collaboration.
  • Actively maintaining customer relationships during projects, escalating issues affecting relationships to the appropriate business development manager.
  • Assisting in drawing up project plans, monitoring progress, and reporting periodically on deviations, escalating when necessary.
  • Assisting in planning resources, selecting teams, and setting material requirements for projects.
  • Contributing to project evaluations and knowledge sharing for continuous improvement.
  • Taking responsibility for aftersales activities during the warranty period.
  • Ensuring conditions for safe and responsible work, making agreements with customers on safe working conditions, and conducting toolbox meetings.

Skills / Abilities:


To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A hands-on, pragmatic approach with good negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • A teamplayer mindset.
  • Fluent French and English language skills (verbally and written).
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Affinity for technology and automation.

Work Experience:


At least 1 year of experience in a similar job is required, with developed knowledge of technical, regulatory, and product-related aspects of the job.


Education:

Vocational degree in Engineering or in a similar direction.
