Purpose of the Job

  • Organize, control and provide all operation activities as analysis, definition, recommendation and optimization for railway and urban transit system for turnkey Tenders, projects or R&D programs

Responsibilities

  • Manage and analyse the simulation of travel times and turnback movements and inputs from all subsystem's entities
  • Confirm and validate the information and inputs collected by the Operation Engineer from all subsystems,
  • Analyse and fulfil the compliance matrix according to the operational topics,
  • Obtain internally transverse documentation on the operational principles of the project.
  • Discuss and confirm the operational principles defined through Operation Plan (OP) and Operating Modes & Principles.
  • Definition (OMPD) internally (with Rolling Stock, signalling ) and externally (with the customer's engineering department or awarded engineering company)
  • Assist the project team by appropriate expertise to find mitigation measures or clarification according to the operational items
  • Deliver the final release (as built) of the Operational Plan and Operating Modes & Principles Definition
  • Perform technical notes in order to justify the design modifications impacting the operational contexts

Educational Requirements
University Degree in Engineering.


Experience & Profile

  • Extended Knowledge of Rail Operations activities and available equipment.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Engineering / Technical operational functions preferably within a customer's operational organisation
  • Good communication & presentation skills
  • English required, other languages are a plus (Spanish/Arabic/Portuguese)

Job Location / Mobility Requirements
Located in the Paris region with regular missions on site.
