Site Director
We are currently seeking a full-time Site Director to join Mitsubishi Chemical group at Tiffauges Site (Vendée, France).

200 FTEs

Full Time - Cadre Dirigeant


Key responsibilities:


  • Overseeing the operational departments within the company
  • Lead the senior leadership team across finance, IT, supply chain, operations, health and safety and human resources
  • Fostering and expanding our inclusive work culture, as well as training and developing the managers and team members
  • Develop and maintain excellent health and safety standards throughout the business, consistent product quality, manufacturing efficiency and best practice
  • Scale manufacturing where cost management and plant efficiency are key (Cost per tonne is paramount to commercial performance) Evaluating and improving the operational processes, systems, procedures and standards to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance of all legalities for both statutory & company obligations
  • Managing relationships and agreements with partners (Work Council, external stakeholders)

Experience required:


  • Significant experience in leading operations, Plant or Manufacturing
  • Operational background in either production, quality, supply chain or industrial engineering.
  • University Degree (or equivalent) in Operations, Engineering, Chemicals or related
  • Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively convey the company's vision and direction to team members
  • Leadership experience of cross functional teams (preferred)
  • Fluent in french
