Presales Technical Account Engineer

As part of the presales and technical activities, you will report to the Sales director and contribute to the daily business operations.

The role will be a bridge between customer in EMEA and Watchdata technical team in China.

This position will be based in Aix-en-provence, daily work routines may include:

Responsibilities:

Answer call of tenders (RFP, RFQ, RFI)
Clarify the client's requirements
Project management driver
Qualification of the product with our clients
Go on site for workshop, trouble shooting, qualification

You will provide technical support to the Telecom sales team. Your main role is to assist local sales with overall technical support for regional Telecom operators and partners. As such, you will need to understand customers' official requirements and technical standards, participate in the tender bids, prepare and make testing sample cards, lead and support on-site testing, and to analyze and solve technical issues existing in the product.

You are required to work closely with customers to promote the transport, Bank, Telecom smart cards and related products/solutions, and collect market intelligence. Together with other department colleagues, you are also required to promote and implement Caplypso, EMV, SIM-based solutions and to make routine communication with product and marketing team in order to have better technical understanding.

Requirements:

You will be a highly motivated and result driven person with excellent communication skills to build strong working relationships with stakeholders

In addition, you possess:

Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science/ Electronics Engineering or related fields:

Diploma with at least 2 years' experience in smart card industry
Fluent English, French, it is a plus for Mandarin language
Basic knowledge of Smart Cards / IT industry and familiarity with smart card transport, Telecom, Bank
Experience in presales, technical support, project management
Meticulous, able to handle stress and to multitask, and adherence to deadlines
Multicultural knowledge
Able to work independently and has initiative, good interpersonal communication skills.
