    Description

    Visualizing the complex relationships between carbohydrates and proteins is at the forefront of understanding infectious processes. Researchers from the Glyco Alps network have extensive expertise in producing recombinant human and microbial lectins, as well as certain saccharides in deuterated form via synthetic biology approaches.

    About the Role

    • The successful candidate will work on using single-crystal neutron diffraction techniques to visualize important hydrogen atoms in carbohydrate-binding proteins.

    This project offers a unique opportunity for an early-career researcher to develop their skills in structural biology and contribute to groundbreaking research with potential applications beyond academia.
