We disseminate robust and independent science through our congresses, journals and educational digital tools. The European Society of Cardiology (The ESC) based in Sophia Antipolis wishes to welcome a
trainee for a 6-month period as from the
3rd March to the 30th August 2024.
You will join the Congress and Events Division, responsible for implementing all actions relating to the organisation of events for cardiologists (congresses, certification exams, educational courses, operating meetings, and related meetings).
This role is an opportunity to gain experience in project management, specifically in the organisation of events in the health sector.
Major duties:
- Coordinate the management of subspecialty conference grants under the supervision of the conference managers.
- To ensure the implementation, followup and delivery of congress grants from their opening to their payment and/or receipt, in collaboration with the congress managers
- To provide administrative support to the department's staff in the delivery of subspecialty congresses.
- To produce various event reports related to the congresses.
Profile:
You are currently at Business or Event School (From BAC+3 to BAC+5) and you are interested in events sector so join us
- Strong organisational skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Good team spirit
- Ability to work with processes and deadlines
- Time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
