Areas of Responsibility:


You have an exciting opportunity to join, as a junior buyer, the Procurement team of a dynamic and international company, a key player in the energy transition.


You will be accountable for the purchasing process of Wind&Solar main components, BOP and O&M services and spare parts, planning the activities of the country, negotiating deals with suppliers and researching possible alternatives and optimizations in coordination with the Headquarter.


You will be collaborative and will have the ability to develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, whilst using their negotiation skills and experience effectively.


What you will be doing:

  • Identifying the organizations purchasing needs
  • Researching, selecting and buy quality products and materials
  • Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities and delivery timescales
  • Processing requisitions and updating management on the status of orders
  • Issuing specific contracts or frame agreements

Studies:

Engineering degree.


Work Experience:

1-3 years of experience as a Buyer.

Nice-to-have: experience in Wind and Solar sector and / or Engineering Procurement and Construction companies.


Languages:


  • French and English fluency
  • German knowledge would be a plus

IT Skills:


  • Microsoft Office 365 mastery
  • An understanding of purchase order software platforms (SAP, Ariba) would be appreciated

Additional Information:

Availability to frequent travel abroad needed.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, clients and suppliers
  • Negotiation skills to work with suppliers and make better deals for the company
  • Good attention to detail to ensure all purchase orders are accurate
  • Analytical skills
