Description
Mission and main objectives:
- Define & secure strategic actions required to deliver region Mid
- Ensure traction of associated strategic programs within the organisation
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Strategy development support
- Support the development of Mid
- Conduct adhoc studies and projects including with Functions to define region MT/LT strategy
- Develop recommendations based on internal and external factors to minimize risks
- Structure projects (including with functions) to clearly define project objectives, milestones and benefits
- Propose recommendations / from data, link strategical and operational thinking
- Identify and manage project key actions/ R&Os /interdependencies
- Assess /plan/monitor expected benefits
- Stakeholder coordination / facilitating regular meetings (project reviews, steering committees), support reporting to executive sponsors
- Define and operate governance at project level
- Ensure adherence to agreed Nissan methodologies, processes and tools in the delivery of projects
- Liaise with functions to monitor projects progress (schedule, target visibility, risk & issue) and support the consolidation of the projects status for executive reporting
- Ensure projects benefit integration liaising with the function and the corporate planning manager
Background and experience (years):
- 4 to 6 years' experience in a planning or strategic position
- Familiar with automotive industry & business operations
- Several program and/or project management experiences
Specific technical skills:
- Very good communication skills, ability to influence mid to senior management delegates
- Strong Economic & finance acumen, including a healthy interest in automotive industry.
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Strong Project/Program management skills and ability to coordinate functions internally to align to the strategic objective
- Strong Strategic thinking, including ability to correlate macro assumptions with the operations.
- Ability to join the dots in a "360 helicopter view" and to derive operational implications
- Ability to combine strategic business and technical direction, and translate concepts into actionable implementation plans.
- Ability to drive change in a fast evolving environment
- Ability to keep things simple
- Proficient with MS. Office
