Your assignment
Aligning with the Head of Professional Services, the PMO Manager defines, publishes and communicates the standards for Project Management and Reporting Quality (PMRQ) in the local Business Unit (BU), and ensures alignment of BU standards with the remainder of the Valiantys Group.
The PMO Manager also ensures that the defined standards are being met across the project portfolio and that continuous improvement is applied.
Responsibilities

Delivery: Transform PMRQ in the UK BU, adopting leading methods, tools, and frameworks to meet standards recognized by clients and differentiate in sales. Maintain and aim for top industry accreditations like CMMI level 5, ensuring methods bring measurable value and meet KPIs for project success. Regularly review and improve PMRQ standards and compliance.

Thought Leadership: Lead in establishing PMRQ as a key discipline within the UK BU and potentially across Valiantys. Adapt and innovate PMRQ practices to align with group governance and industry trends, providing training to enhance Project Managers' skills and contributing to the broader PM community.

People Leadership: Foster a culture of excellence in project management, ensuring Project Managers understand and champion PMO-driven change, contributing to their development and the broader delivery team's growth.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in project management across Valiantys, with an approach focused on strategic transformation as well as thought leadership across PMRQ practices.
And you are
- Someone with Professional development/training in managing projects and programmes.
- Able to develop relationships across borders.
- Someone who has utilised change management processes such as APM MSP, PRINCE 2 or LEAN/Six Sigma process.
- A person with experience in delivering difficult outcomes.
Person Specification
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- The ability to produce crossborder documentation.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to form good working relationships quickly and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- The confidence to engage with staff to facilitate their adoption of new methods of working.
