BU B&T North on our project

Industry 4.0. This position is open within our Application & Business Coordination (ABC) team and can be based in Lyon, Autun (71) or Bourg-en
  • Bresse He/she will work on Nexans' new ambitious program of digitalization of the industry (Industry 4.0) and will also operate at local, country and B&T North (Europe and North America mainly) Level. ***
    Main responsibilities:
    Strategy:
  • Support the business to translate their requirements into IT-OT projects
  • Be a referent for the rest of the ABC team on the OT and Industrial projects
  • Promote the deployment of Industry 4.0 within B&T North
  • Participate in business demand analysis
  • Participate in the assessment and choice of technologies
  • Analyze gap between business needs and technology standards
  • Promote the standardization in defending IT and business strategy

Design:


  • Contribute to the design and implementation of the IT standards and solutions
  • Estimate the resources and means necessary for activities within his/her area of responsibility

Operations & Support:


  • Coordinate relationship with plants within his/her perimeter
  • Take part in the resolution or escalation of incidents or problems by identifying and correcting malfunctions
  • Be the referent and a key contributor of Industry 4.0 for B&T North ABC team

Development & Delivery in IT and OT:

  • Guarantee the function and coherence between the IT services and the business needs.
  • Develop adequate solution towards the local business demands in IT and OT

Continuous Improvement:


  • He/She encourage continues process improvements and makes proposals to enhance them

We are looking for:


  • Industrial engineer with IT-OT expertise and automation skills
  • 510 years of experience in OT
  • Innovation awareness.
  • Guardian of the standardization

  • Communication & story telling skills
  • Influencing and networking
  • Service Delivery mindset
  • Willingness to travel between Nexans plants (Up to 50% of mobility)
  • Fluent in French and English
