How will you make an impact?
We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join our Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division's (CMD) distributed team.


What will you do?

Lead and guide the definition of differentiated Compliance and Validation Offerings:

  • Define new products and services assisting customers in the validation of our present (Chromeleon) and future (Ardia) enterprise software
  • Guide development of Compliance requirements in cooperation with research and development, technical writing, product management and software services team
  • Cooperate with Software product management in the implementation of new or extended features in support of new or evolved regulations
  • Stay on top of evolution and changes of GLP, GMP and related (e.g. Data integrity) regulations
  • Cooperate with partners in developing technical and promotional documentation for Software portfolio related to validation and compliance
  • Support the head of department, peer functional leaders and the business VP with highquality content for strategic and senior level internal and external interactions

Promote and strengthen ThermoFisher's Enterprise Software Validation Capabilities and offering in response to current and future regulations:

  • Help customers to understand and meet current and evolving regulations by performing educational presentations and developing guidance on how regulatory compliance support can be achieved with ThermoFisher Enterprise Software and Services
  • Act as point of contact for internal and external customers for all questions related to enterprise software compliance needs and capabilities
  • Share and educate the Software marketing, development and testing organization and other software teams across the organization on the latest regulations
  • Cooperate with Validation Leaders in Product Management to support connections with regulatory agencies to help the agencies in facilitating impactful audits on ThermoFisher software, provide input into evolving current regulations and be the first one to learn about new trends and areas of interest

Ensure regulatory compliance and data integrity are key areas of focus for the software organization:

  • Drive the Software Organization to adopt regulatory compliance as a lead theme for software development and testing practices
  • Assess impact of current and new regulations to our software development approach and processes
  • Help to identify positioning and messaging of ThermoFisher regulatory compliance offering for customerfacing channels
  • Educate sales and service channels on our position and offering

How will you get here?

Education and Experience

  • Degree in Computer or Analytical Sciences or extensive practical experience in IT roles related to validation and regulatory compliance
  • Extensive experience in regulations and/or Computer System Validation
  • Relevant experience with at some parts of the CMD Software Product Portfolio
  • Experience in education or authorship in regulatory compliance guidelines OR practical experience going through regulatory inspections and audit
  • Proven track record in creating documents and deliverables to passing audits for GxP regulatory compliance
  • Extensive Industry experience in the GxP regulated industry

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Regular international travel required up to 50% annual
The salary range estimated for this position is $142,000 - $165,000.

This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.

Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
