Melium Consulting have been retained by one of the worlds leading confectionary manufacturers to identify and attract an Production Director for their flagship manufacturing facility, based in Pau, France.
As the Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of their flagship site.Lead and motivate a large team of production staff, including supervisors and line workers, to achieve production targets and quality standards.
~ Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining product quality.~ Collaborate closely with other departments, such as R&D, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of production plans.
~ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
~ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; Proven track record of at least 7 years in a senior operations management role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
~ Problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
~ Experience implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
~ Fluency in French and English;
