    The role & the teams

    To meet the challenges of our expanding Pharmaceutical Excipients business, we are looking to add a Channel Manager – EMEA (M/F) to our Global Pharma Distribution team This position will be located in La Madeleine (Lille).

    Our teams

    The Pharma Distribution Team is responsible for developing and executing Pharma GBU business plans that align with our channel strategy.

    Your mission?

    As Channel Manager, your objective is to increase Roquette's market share, profitably and productivity via a strategic management of a network of high performing Preferred Distributors.

    You will manage your distribution partners as strategic accounts with Development plans reflecting the Pharma business unit strategy. You will build the budget with BU team and ensure its execution via structured monitoring and regular interactions with your distributors' counterparts. You will act as a pivot role between Roquette's and the distributor's different functions. You will also participate to building and deploying Distribution rules, methods and tools as well as participating to eventual onboarding and off boarding of distributors.

    Manage Distributors as an External Sales Force:

    Define and monitor sales activity and specific targets for distributors.

    Co-build distributor development plan

    Deploy Pharma Business Unit strategy within your distributors' organizations.

    Define transfer prices with the Pharma Business Unit.

    Build and follow up on quotations.

    Negotiate prices

    Manage sales contract execution and turnover target realization

    Monitor and guide distributor projects pipeline on Roquette's priorities

    Implement sales program: budget, forecast

    Evaluate and raise training needs for distributors

    Create a link between Roquette's internal team and our distributors.

    Contribute to marketing waves deployment.

    Manage Distribution Effectiveness:

    Contribute to internal processes and tool design and deployment in collaboration with Distribution Excellence.

    Contribute to the data collection (sales report, market price, sales funnel, and forecast) in collaboration with Distribution Excellence, Marketing, Technical teams, and demand planning teams.

    Master Degree in Business Administration or Sciences

    5+ years' experience in contract negotiation, sales, marketing and project management

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    Strong collaboration skills: ability to work effectively in a transversal team environment including external stakeholders.

    Strong analytical skills

    Strong organizational skills

    Experience in Pharma market preferred

    Experience working in matrix organizations preferred

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

    Willing to travel when required (20%)
