• Customer Support
• Meet with customers and present technical updates and product status
• Participate to enhancement specification
• Review, verify, and prioritize customer reported issues (bugs)
• Provide assessment of feasibility of improvement requests
• Provide primary product debugging for developers and delineate potential root cause of debugged issues
• Development Support
• Work closely with CAE
• Prioritize critical customer issues and requirements
• Participate to prototype elaboration
• Test early implementations of new features
• Lead beta testing activities with field and customers
• Support product quality with new testcases covering new and existing functionality
• Track, bench and profile performance, capacity and reliability of our variationaware solution
• Manual testing to ensuring released products are of high quality and completeness
• Product Support
• Provide new examples and tutorial materiel for Varman package, which will be delivered to all customers
• Provide/create training materials for field support
• Coordinate with and update the field on a regular basis
• Write white papers for SILVACO intranet: describe new functionality, notify marketing about performance improvements
• Interact with Sales and Marketing on the regular basis
• Identify and update product collateral
• Help qualify engagements
• Understand needs and develop response plans
• Help develop product roadmap

• Bachelors degree or equivalent
• 5+ years experience designing and simulating logic/memory designs such as StdCell, SRAM, etc.
• Thorough understanding of constrain related to circuit simulation
• Experienced using SPICE netlists and control languages including HSPICE, Spectre and Eldo
• Familiar with EDA design environments and able to script in standard languages (Python, Bash, Csh, etc)
• Experience in Statistical Design (Monte Carlo analysis) will be an asset
• Excellent coding skills.
• Extensive knowledge of agile methodologies.
• Experience in semiconductor industry preferred.
• Experience in international and remote team building preferred.
• Experience in physical principles and models for doping diffusion in semiconductor technology

• Prolonged periods of sitting.
• Prolonged periods of typing
• Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers.
• Ability to lift (up) to 15 pounds at times.
