Job description:

We are looking for Bid Engineers to accompany our leading client in the energy sector in Belgium. You will be primarily responsible for bid calculation and offer preparation of low voltage switchgear.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

Assist in project execution of projects for which you have prepared the bid.
Manage the development and submission of individual proposals for industrial main distribution panels on low voltage V, socalled MCCs or Motor Control Centers).
Assist in sales activities and execute projects, on a casebycase basis.
Manage proposals, technically and commercially in a timely accurate manner. This entails analyzing and clarifying the technical tender and clauses, clarification of the customer specific requirements and running kickoff meetings with the project team and the customer.
Prepare technical offers and documentation and ensure that the projects are handed over to the project execution team with all relevant documents.
Be responsible for the preparation of the quotation calculation and terms and conditions, together with the project controller,
Provide technical sales support and assist in handover from sales/bid team to execution.

THE IDEAL PROFILE

You have a BAC +5 diploma from an engineering school and at least 1 year of experience in a similar position (internship included).
You are able to manage multiple tasks and communicate with different internal and external stakeholders.
Relational ease with a strong ability to adapt.
You are curious, rigorous and you have a spirit of initiative.
You are fluent in French and English. Dutch is a plus.
