Aufgaben:

In our Advanced Design Studio, MB IDC Europe, we design interior and exterior styling of all Mercedes-Benz Car projects along with our headquarter, Sindelfingen design studio in Germany.

We are engaged in Creative design, Digital modelling and Studio engineering for a panorama of projects for Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans, Maybach, AMG and SMART.

The CAD and engineering team leader creates new aesthetics for the Mercedes Benz Group, helping to position the Brand at the level of excellence defined by Group management and in the light of developments on international markets.

This requires close connection with our German colleagues and a good understanding of the Mercedes-Benz design language.

Mains tasks:
Lead and organize digital model creation throughout the interior and exterior design process until model confirmation.

Capacity and budget management for the entire digital model development process up to model confirmation.

Planning of complex projects in terms of capacity and budget requirements.

Negotiation of resources with service providers referenced by the Group in line with project planning and requirements.

Coordination with the design teams with a particular focus on formal quality and with the clay modelling team with special focus on timely delivery and integrability into the physical modelling process.

Process design Control and design of the interaction of digital and manual model design.

Promote the digitally supported design process.

Observe digital development methods and integrate them into the design process if necessary.

Ensure that the site's IT components work properly (Procurement and maintenance of design-specific IT hardware and software°

Manage 4 CAD and 2 engineers in internal and external service providers.


Responsibilities:

Responsibility for Data and engineering for all interior and exterior projects.

Responsibility for the development of CAD design models in direct cooperation with design

Responsibility for all security issues relating to buildings and data processing (ISO Officer & Security Officer)


Qualifikationen:


Qualification:

Diploma:
Master in Design or Engineering.

Professional experience:
At least 10 years' experience in CAD design and at least 5 in team management and/or coordination.

Language:
fluent German and English / French a plus


Location:
At Valbonne in France ( Between Cannes and Nice)


Position & benefits:
Manager M2 (PV44 not required)
