The site of Cergy is part of the Powertrain Systems (PTS) Business Group. This unit develops innovative solutions to reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and pollutants, without compromising driving comfort and performance.
We are looking for a Business Group PTS R&D Electronics Discipline Director.
As a Power Electronics expert, you are working in close relationship with PTS Product Groups and Group.
Your missions:
Electronics Innovation & Technology
Organise and pilote the exchanges with the ecosystem (labs, academics, partners and suppliers)
Monitor Innovation coming from market and suppliers, ensure analysis, relevance assessment
Drive and share Techwatch and transversal Electronics roadmaps. Coordinate proof of concepts in close contact with the product platforms which pilote operations
Drive transversal regulatory watch, identify and communicate impacts for the platforms
Represent PTS Electronics Engineering at international events and consortiums
Electronics Expertise & Standards
Consolidate and maintain Electronics Engineering standards, identifying needs for new Electronics Engineering standards. Chairman of the standardisation committee at the BG level.
Define and formalise converged and lean Electronic's development process and specify Electronics Engineering needs to R&D DSIS Mechatronics & Simulation COE through Digital Business Partner
Ensure and monitor that best practices are capitalised, transversalized and efficient. Ensure and monitor a systematic and efficient Design Review process deployment in PGs.
Define the BG Electronic's footprint strategy and the solutions to increase the technical centers usage. Balance load between PGs.
Act as technical advisor for the BG and support PGs for complex issues solving
Animate the BG Electronics network and monitor the efficiency through KPIs.
Animate Electronics Engineering experts network and roadmap (XdP)
Coordinate the creation of trainings for Electronics in collaboration with Valeo Technical Institutes (VTI)
Electronics Valeo Core Transversal Platforms & Architecture
Define the roadmap for transversal PTS Electronics transversal platform (ecomponent, building block) in close link with product platforms and SW
Manage the development of Electronics VCore platforms in the tech Centers
Define transversal architecture rules and patterns to optimise the product platform efficiency
Monitor the deployment and usage of transversal platforms within BGs and TCs
Let's talk about you...
You have an Engineering Degree in Electronics, a specialisation in the Power Electronics field would be a plus
You have at least 20 years of experience in Electronics in automotive engineering or relevant industries.
