Your team:


  • Pictet Asset Management (Pictet AM) manages the assets of some of the world's largest institutions, financial intermediaries, and their clients. Our culture welcomes independent thinkers and centres on investment excellence, a longterm perspective and dedication to client service.
  • As part of the Parisbased Private Debt team, you will work alongside two team members part of a larger Private Debt team present in London, Frankfurt & Paris. You will help them on daily tasks and learn how the Private Debt world works.

Your role:


  • Leveraging on the new approaches, technologies and business knowhow you just learned in your studies.
  • Carrying out financial and strategic analysis of investment opportunities (European SMEs earning revenue between €20m and €100m).
  • Preparing financial models (business plan, LBO model, etc.).
  • Actively engaging in the credit investment process by participating in the drafting of Investment Committee memos and attending expert calls and Investment Committees.
  • Taking part in meetings with management teams of targeted companies as well as advisors (M&A, debt advisory, transaction services).

Your profile:


  • Master's or postgraduate degree (second gapyear internship, end of studies internship) in a field related to business, economics, finance, mathematics or a qualification deemed equivalent.
  • Proficient user of the most common office IT solutions (MS Office
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong technical competencies in financial and sectorial analysis as well as financial modelling.
  • Previous internship experience in Private Debt, Private Equity, Leveraged Finance, M&A, Debt Advisory or Transaction Services.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, an enquiring mind as well as an ability to innovate.
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic, keen to be part of a team and be a strong team player.
  • Perfect command of English and, ideally, another European language.
