About The Residency:

The Residency is an early-stage startup that aims to give soccer fans direct access to their favorite stars.

Our platform connects fans with the greatest players in the world, giving them unique and personalized experiences that they will cherish for a lifetime.


Job Overview:


We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and drive our product development efforts.

As the CTO, you will work closely with the CEO and the executive team to define our product roadmap and execute on our vision.

This role requires a strong technical leader who can think strategically, build scalable systems, and lead a team of engineers.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead the development of our mobile app and backend systems
  • Define and execute our product roadmap, working closely with the CEO and executive team
  • Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of our systems
  • Build and manage a worldclass engineering team, including hiring, coaching, and mentoring
  • Drive innovation and technical excellence across the organization
  • Partner with the CEO to develop and manage the technology budget
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve the customer experience and drive business growth
  • Work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality products on time and on budget

Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience in building and scaling B2C mobile apps
  • Experience in an earlystage startup environment, ideally with a successful exit
  • Strong technical skills, with expertise in mobile app development, backend systems, and cloud technologies
  • Experience managing teams of engineers, with a focus on coaching and mentoring
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, advanced degree preferred
